Droughtie mothers are known for their strong maternal instincts and good milk production, helping their calves thrive in conditions that are less than favourable. Their adaptability  also has the advantage of continued reproductive performance during poor conditions due to lower nutritional requirements.

Sun Peaks also breed a selection of quality Droughtmaster Angus cross resulting in a high-quality product, with wide market acceptance.
