Sun Peaks Droughtmasters currently have two bulls, obtained from the renowned Heitiki bloodlines. These bulls were carefully selected based on their docility and overall structural correctness, backed up by the proven performance created by generations of distinguished bloodlines.
Ferdinand (Heitiki 4274)
This bull was purchased from Menabilly Droughtmasters to use as a great cross over quality Angus cows. He is a lovely long bull, boasting good bone and muscle with a beautiful sire’s head; broad- muzzled, well-hooded eyes and strongly polled. This bull’s nature is truly outstanding which is expected to shine through his progeny.
The progeny resulting from this cross-breeding will enjoy the traits inherited from this sire, with the owners benefiting from the economic advantages the Droughtmaster brings.
Bruce (Heitiki 4580)
Bruce is a lovely young sire that oozes quality with his smooth, sleek coat and abundance of loose skin. Carefully selected from a young herd at Heitiki Stud, Bruce is good minded and has incredible depth and thickness. It is with met with great anticipation awaiting his first drop of calves, due in spring 2025.
